The arrival of spring means routine maintenance to water mains throughout Norfolk County. That process begins this April 12 in Port Rowan.
During this procedure, staff supervises as hydrants flow in a controlled manner. This helps to scour pipe walls and cleans the sediment from inside the mains.
The spring schedule is as follows:
- Port Rowan – April 12-20
- Simcoe – April 19 – May 27
- Port Dover – April 25 – June 3
- Waterford – April 19 – 29
- Delhi/Courtland – May 2 – May 20
