Visit Norfolk Privacy Policies

Norfolk County (the “County”) adopts the Privacy Policy as issued by Simpleview, which can be found at: https://www.simpleviewinc.com/privacy-notice/ and, in addition, the County also advises:

1. The County does not store any user information that may be provided nor does the County capture any identifying information from or relating to users.
2. The County is subject to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act in Ontario (“MFIPPA”) and therefore any information that may be provided by the user to the County will be subject to possible disclosure pursuant to MFIPPA.
3. Any privacy policy published by Simpleviews or any other service provider or developer shall also be the policy of the County to the extent possible.

Visit Norfolk Terms of Use

Norfolk County is providing each user with access to the Visit Norfolk platform for use at such user’s own risk. Each user shall be responsible for their own due diligence.

All Terms of Use as published by Visit Norfolk shall also be applicable in addition to the terms and provisions herein.

Norfolk County assumes no responsibility or liability with regard to such use and Norfolk County does not make any warranties or representations of any nature whatsoever with regard to such use. Norfolk County is merely an intermediary facilitating this service and any concerns by a user must be addressed by the user with the applicable business directly.

Each user shall proceed at their own risk and each user shall also be responsible to fully comply with the Terms of Use as posted from time to time by Shopmytown. Each user, by such use, hereby indemnifies Norfolk County in the event that the user breaches such terms of use and Visit Norfolk makes a claim against Norfolk County with regard to such breach.
