Norfolk County is pleased to announce that Kyra Hayes will be joining the County as its Director, Corporate Communications & Customer Service on June 7, 2021.
In this role, Hayes will serve as a key member of the County’s leadership team and oversee strategic communications, customer service, and community engagement planning for the organization.
“We are very excited to have Kyra join our team,” said Shelley Darlington, General Manager of Corporate Services. “She comes to us with a broad skill set that will be a great asset to the organization.”
Hayes comes to Norfolk County with over 10 years of experience in communications and public relations in non-profit, private, and municipal sectors (Town of Oakville and Haldimand County.)
Most recently, Hayes was seconded to the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit in a temporary capacity to assist with vaccination rollout and related COVID-19 communications.
Hayes is a resident of Haldimand County and is both familiar with and fond of Norfolk. She is excited to join the Norfolk County team and employ her skills to keep residents informed, engaged, and connected to the high-quality services Norfolk offers.
