This morning, members of Norfolk County’s Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) – including staff from the County’s senior leadership team, Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit, Norfolk County OPP, and Mayor Kristal Chopp – met to review Ontario’s strengthened Stay-at-Home order, and undertake the County’s plan for the additional public health measures.

The order began at 12:01 a.m. today – and will be in effect until at least May 20. It includes new measures such as extra restrictions on retail businesses, outdoor amenities, non-essential construction and public gatherings.

Additional updates will be released to the public early next week.
