Grab your spookiest costume (and your swim trunks) and join Norfolk Recreation for a back-to-back dose of Halloween fun on October 28. 

First is the Halloween Bash at the Simcoe Recreation Centre on the multipurpose floor. From 1 to 4 p.m., attendees will participate in an afternoon of spooky fun for the whole family with prizes awarded for the funniest, most original, and homemade costumes. Enjoy crafts, games and the magic of Dougtastic. Pre-registration is required, and the cost is $5 per person. Registration is available online through ENCORE, by phone at 519-426-5870 or 226-NORFOLK ext.2233, or in person at the Simcoe Recreation Centre until 8 p.m. Friday, or after 9 a.m. on Saturday morning. 

The fun, games, and prizes continue at the Annaleise Carr Aquatic Centre for two Spooky Splash themed swims. The Family Swim from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. is sponsored by Absolute Respiratory and free for all families. Pre-registration is not available and is first come, first serve. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The Public Swim from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. is open to all at regular admission fees and pre-registration is available.  

Additionally, Recreation staff will also be participating in the Second Annual Trunk or Treat hosted by the Simcoe Gliders on Saturday, October 28 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds.
