First is the Halloween Bash at the Simcoe Recreation Centre on the multipurpose floor. From 1 to 4 p.m., attendees will participate in an afternoon of spooky fun for the whole family with prizes awarded for the funniest, most original, and homemade costumes. Enjoy crafts, games and the magic of Dougtastic. Pre-registration is required, and the cost is $5 per person. The fun, games, and prizes continue at the Annaleise Carr Aquatic Centre for two Spooky Splash themed swims. The Family Swim from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. is sponsored by Absolute Respiratory and free for all families. Pre-registration is not available and is first come, first serve. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The Public Swim from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. is open to all at regular admission fees and pre-registration is available.
