Project Description

The Phase 2 Upgrades at the Port Dover Water Treatment Plant located at 603 Nelson Street West in Port Dover have been awarded to H2Ontario Inc.

The work will consist of upgrades to the water treatment plant processes, tankage, and pumping within the existing building structures and will also include site works; such as water main replacement, wastewater holding tank installation, upgrades to the onsite lift station, new standby generator, restoration, and asphalt paving.

The Water Treatment Plant site has been under construction for the previous couple of years and this final phase of construction will complete the project ensuring a reliable water supply to the town of Port Dover.  Generally, the public will not be affected by this construction, however, there will continue to be contractor presence and excavation work ongoing over the next year.

Information for Public

Please note that during the length of construction, the project site is strictly prohibited to the general public.  There is no access to the beach area behind the water treatment plant.  The general public shall not enter or park vehicles on the Port Dover Water Treatment Plant property.
