Project Scope
Road rehabilitation will be occurring on the following rural road sections:
Old Highway 24 – Cold Recycling (CIPR/CIREAM) at a depth of 100mm, cold planing/milling, 50mm HL-3 overlay, padding, tack coat, Installation of new catch basin frame and grate, curb replacements as identified, supply and placement of topsoil and sod, shouldering, line painting and mailbox adjustments from Concession 3 Townsend to Jenkins Road.

Windham Centre Road – Cold planing/milling, Cold Recycling (CIPR/CIREAM) at a depth of 90mm, 50mm HL-3 overlay, tack coat, shouldering, line painting and mailbox adjustments from Brantford Road to Nixon Road.

 

Windham Centre Road – Culvert replacements as identified, cold planing/milling, Cold Recycling (CIPR/CIREAM) at a depth of 90mm, 50mm HL-3 overlay, tack coat, shouldering, line painting and mailbox adjustments from Windham East Quarter Line Road to Highway 24.

Norfolk County Road 13 – Culvert replacements as identified, Cold Recycling (CIPR/CIREAM) at a depth of 90mm, cold planing/milling, tack coat, 50mm HL-3 overlay, shouldering, line painting, and mailbox adjustments from Highway 3 to Mall Road.

Construction Schedule
The project has been awarded to GIP Paving Inc. is scheduled to start in April of 2024 and be completed by September 2024.

Information for Homeowners
Driveway Access
The contractor is required to maintain access to all homes during construction. There will be occasions when you may experience some delays, lack of service, and inconvenience. Every effort will be made by the contractor to minimize these occurrences as well as communicate when they are to occur.

Garbage and Recycling
Garbage and recycling collection services will remain the same. Please have your garbage and recycling curbside by 7:00 am the day of your regular collection schedule. Municipal addresses should be labeled on all recycling boxes so that they may be returned to the correct address if they are required to be temporarily relocated for collection.
