Take Notice that Norfolk County will hold a Public Meeting (In-Person) to consider proposed changes to the Commercial and Industrial Vacant/Excess Land Subclass property tax discount.
At the Council meeting held on October 17, 2023, Council endorsed a review of the commercial and industrial vacant and excess land subclass discount program which provides a 30% discount for all eligible properties.
At this meeting, members of the public will be presented with information which outlines:
- Current program discount and proposed changes
- Potential impacts of the proposed changes
- Rationale for proposed changes
