Norfolk County residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for the third annual Norfolk Community Days from June 13 to 16, 2024.

County facilities in each Ward, such as community centres, museums, libraries, fire halls, pools, arenas, and parks, will welcome members of the community to attend free recreational, social, and cultural activities throughout this year’s four-day event.

This year’s Community Days will coincide with the official grand opening of the newly renovated Delhi Kinsmen Pool on Saturday, June 15. Staff will offer free pool programming and exciting family fun in the park and pavilion outside.

The County is also partnering with local community groups and businesses to offer and promote events like the Waterford Lions “Touch A Truck” event, the Delhi BIA’s Ford Mustang Car Show, the Port Dover Harbour Museum’s second annual Arbour Dog Races as well as brewery tours and live music throughout this year’s event.

The Norfolk County Agricultural Society is hosting the second annual Fairgrounds Festival supported by Amplify Norfolk on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15 and will once again feature local talent alongside national headline artists. The fairgrounds will open early for music, food, drinks, and fun before the “Party on the Track” concerts begin. Announcements and tickets coming soon to fairgroundsfestival.ca.

“Norfolk is big on traditions, and after the success of our second annual event last year, we are so excited to have Community Days back in 2024 and to keep the tradition going for a third year in a row,” said Mayor Amy Martin.

Community groups and local businesses interested in participating in or partnering in events – and individuals interested in volunteering are encouraged to email [email protected]. Sponsorship opportunities are also available to support Norfolk Community Days, from event and prize donations to in-kind contributions.
