Norfolk County announces that Sarah Page, General Manager of Emergency and Social Services, will be taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Grand Erie Public Health.
Norfolk County has contracted Civica to conduct sewer smoke testing in residential neighborhoods near the downtown core of Port Dover. Residents in these areas will receive advance notice, and daily updates will be provided throughout the project to keep the community informed.

Norfolk County (County) has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) for the Simcoe Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The Norfolk County Integrated Sustainable Master Plan (ISMP), finalized in September 2016, identified upgrades to the Simcoe WWTP’s solids handling processes, including utilizing biosolids storage tanks at the Simcoe WWTP to store biosolids from Port Dover and Port Rowan WWTPs based on a planning horizon year of 2041.
