As winter weather approaches, Norfolk County is ready to respond to snow, ice, and cold conditions on its more than 4,200 kilometres of roads.  

In recognition of Remembrance Day on Tuesday, November 11, Norfolk County will join Canadians across the country to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served and continue to serve our country during times of war, military conflict, and peace. 

Ceremonies will be held in communities across Norfolk County, and residents are encouraged to attend a local service or take a moment to reflect on the contributions of veterans and active service members. 

Norfolk County is celebrating a major boost to its fisheries sector, thanks to a $10 million investment from the Ontario government to upgrade facilities in Port Dover and Wheatley.

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Corporation of Norfolk County intends to consider the Draft 2026-2035 Levy Capital Plan at its Budget Committee Meeting on November 20th.

Norfolk County Council has decided that, in alignment with provincial direction, municipal-funded curbside recycling collection services for industrial, commercial, and institutional properties will end after 2025. While this change does apply to Norfolk County-owned buildings and facilities, Council approved funding to support recycling collection services for County facilities.  

Norfolk County is offering a number of surplus vehicles for sale through an online auction hosted on GovDeals. The auction is open now and will close on November 13.
