Norfolk County announces that Amy Martin has resumed her full duties as Mayor following the provincial election results.
Snow removal operations to clear large piles of snow from roadways and parking lots across Norfolk County will begin on Tuesday, February 25.
Norfolk County is inviting residents to share their feedback on the Draft Master Recreation Plan, which will be presented to the Recreation and Parks Advisory Committee on Thursday, February 27, at 4 p.m. in Council Chambers, Simcoe.

Please note that Norfolk County facilities, including the Simcoe Recreation Centre and arenas, are currently experiencing internet availability issues, resulting in no access to phones, email or the internet. The Recreation Centre and arenas remain open for patrons.
Norfolk County is reminding residents of changes to programs and facility closures on Family Day, Monday, February 17. While many buildings, programs and services are not open or running, there are several recreational opportunities for community members of all ages.
Norfolk County is proud to be recognized for two outstanding initiatives at the 2024 Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO) Awards of Excellence. The County received top honours in the Planning and Strategy Development (Rural) category for its in-house developed Economic Development Strategy and earned an Honourable Mention in the Visitor Attraction & Tourism Product category for the Meet Scout initiative.
Norfolk County has launched a new website to welcome newcomers and to ease their transition to living and working in the community. New2Norfolk.ca is a one-stop, online information guide for newcomers that lists more than 100 resources, including those based in Norfolk, the Grand Erie area, and ones that serve Ontario and Canada.
With a weekend of wintery weather in the forecast, Norfolk County would like to remind residents about snow clearing, winter parking, and staying informed.
