Norfolk County residents should avoid raking or blowing leaves onto the street or a neighbouring property as per by-law 2004-213 this fall.

On Wednesday, October 26th, Norfolk County Paramedic Services held its first Night of Celebration to honour paramedic achievement and service at the Simcoe Legion.

Norfolk County has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to implement an approximately 20 km length transmission watermain that connects Simcoe to the Townsend Water Supply System. This project will secure water supply from the Nanticoke Water Treatment Plant.

Norfolk County will observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation holiday on Friday, Sept. 30. This statutory holiday was created through legislative amendments made by Parliament in June of 2021 – and on Sept. 7 2021, Council approved National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to be recognized by all Norfolk County staff.
