New signage is being installed at various sanitary overflow locations throughout Norfolk County this month. The signs are only intended to identify the location of sanitary overflow infrastructure, not that an overflow event is occurring. Residents should not be alarmed if they notice water flowing at these locations. 

Norfolk County residents are reminded that most County services – and all County buildings – will not be available on Victoria Day, Monday, May 19, 2025. 

As long weekends approach and residents begin making plans, Norfolk County is reminding the community to stay safe and follow local fireworks rules and safety practices.

The County is committed to maintaining continuity for residents despite potential mail delays.

Norfolk County’s summer recreation programs and swimming lessons open for registration on Tuesday, May 6, at noon.  

Norfolk’s Summer Recreation Program Guide provides details about programs offered, including day and specialty camps, swimming lessons, leadership courses, fitness classes, recreational swimming, skating and sports.  

Norfolk County is joining communities across Canada in recognizing Emergency Preparedness (EP) Week from May 4 to 10, 2025.
