Norfolk County Public Hearing Committee will meet on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Norfolk County Administration Building, 50 Colborne St. S., Simcoe. 

Norfolk County Council has approved the 2026-27 investment plan that supports housing stability and homelessness prevention services across Haldimand and Norfolk.

The Medical Officer of Health (MOH) for Grand Erie Public Health is issuing a Heat Alert for the Grand Erie Public Health region (Brantford-Brant and Haldimand-Norfolk), effective Monday, June 29, 2026.

The South Walsingham Transfer Station, at 1180 Concession Road 3, Walsingham, will be closed today (Saturday, June 27, 2026). 

Residents in Haldimand and Norfolk may now apply for help with essential home repairs through the Ontario Renovates program. 

Norfolk County has endorsed short-term Rental regulations, a Municipal Accommodation Tax, and the creation of a Municipal Development Corporation to support destination management and tourism promotion.

The Norfolk County Provincial Offences Administration (POA) counter service at 185 Robinson Street in Simcoe will be closed today (Friday, June 26, 2026). Scheduled court events will still occur today. 

Norfolk County residents are reminded that most County services, and all County buildings, will not be open or available on Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
