Norfolk County Forestry staff are hosting an information session to raise awareness about dog strangling vine, an invasive plant species recently detected in Waterford, including along the trail.

Norfolk County’s Public Hearing Committee met on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, to hear public input on planning applications. A Special Council meeting was held immediately following the Public Hearing Committee to consider and approve two items from the meeting.

Norfolk County will hold a special Council meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, following the Public Hearing Committee meeting. The June Council-in-Committee meeting will now begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 11.

The Public Hearings Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 2026, will be held in Council Chambers.
