The Port Dover Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 137 Hamilton Plank Road in Port Dover will be upgraded to replace obsolete technology, improve the efficiency of existing treatment processes, achieve regulatory compliance excellence, and increase the plant rated capacity. Through this project, the 60-year old existing conventional treatment plant will be upgraded to advanced biological treatment to meet the regulatory effluent requirements for nutrient removal prior to discharging into Lake Erie. This project is part of the approved 2024 Capital Delivery Plan. 

Notice is hereby given that a public meeting of Council is scheduled to consider passage of a by-law proposing to close and convey a portion of the following municipal road allowance: Part Lot 3, Concession 11, Charlotteville; Part Lot 4, Block 17, Plan 37B being Part 1 on Reference Plan 37R7352; Norfolk County (Being Part of P.I.N. 50194-0148 (LT).

Norfolk County and Scotlynn are proud to unveil a bold new collaboration that brings the region’s economic strengths to the open road. Featuring three distinct trailer designs, this joint initiative transforms a fleet of Scotlynn trucks into powerful mobile billboards promoting Norfolk County’s unique advantages across North America.

New signage is being installed at various sanitary overflow locations throughout Norfolk County this month. The signs are only intended to identify the location of sanitary overflow infrastructure, not that an overflow event is occurring. Residents should not be alarmed if they notice water flowing at these locations. 

Norfolk County residents are reminded that most County services – and all County buildings – will not be available on Victoria Day, Monday, May 19, 2025.

The County is committed to maintaining continuity for residents despite potential mail delays.
