Aug. 25, 2022 – A total of 48 candidates are certified to run in the 2022 Municipal Election in Norfolk County. The candidate nomination period closed on Aug. 19, 2022 at 2 p.m. The official list of certified candidates, including those on County Council, and School Board trustee, is as follows:
August 18, 2022 – Norfolk County’s next Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Event will take place in Simcoe at 591 Norfolk St. South on Saturday, September 17 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The pedestrian crosswalk on Main Street at the Greenock Street intersection in Port Dover will be completed on July 29. With that in mind, County staff are reminding residents that pedestrians have the right of way at these crossings.
