This notice is to provide public notification of the pending reconstruction of Regent Avenue, from Nelson Street to Greenock Street, and McNab Street West, from First Avenue westerly to dead end, all in Port Dover.

Norfolk County Council-in-Committee met on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The meeting was held at the Gilbertson Administration Building and streamed online. 

Maintenance dredging in the approach channels to the Port Rowan marina to improve navigation. The dredged material will be dried upland and disposed of at an approved landfill.

Logging operations are taking place in Norfolk County Woodlot C4 from September 7 to December 31, 2026. All trails within the woodlot are closed during this period for public safety.

Norfolk County residents are reminded that most County services, and all County buildings, will not be open or available on Labour Day, Monday, September 7, 2026. 

Norfolk County's Public Hearing Committee met on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, to hear public input on planning applications. Final recommendations on the applications will be presented to Council at a future meeting. 

Norfolk County is advising residents that the reopening of the Annaleise Carr Aquatic Centre (ACAC) pool has been delayed, and the facility will not reopen in September as originally planned.

Norfolk County will host two Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection events this fall, providing residents with a safe and convenient way to dispose of household hazardous materials. Registration opens Thursday, September 3 at noon.
