Annaleise Carr Aquatic Centre reopens to the community
Norfolk County is welcoming swimmers back to the Annaleise Carr Aquatic Centre (ACAC) at the Simcoe Recreation Centre following the completion of repairs and facility upgrades.
The pool has reopened, and regular aquatic programming, including swimming lessons and drop-in activities, have resumed.
To welcome the community back, the following two free swims will be offered on October 24 and 25:
- Family Swim: Saturday, October 24, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
- Public Swim: Sunday, October 25, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m.
Residents can find the full schedule of public swims, length swims, aquafit and other drop-in aquatic programs on the Norfolk County Recreation webpage. Residents can also use ENCORE to pre-register for drop-in activities.
Multi-purpose floor update
The Simcoe Recreation Centre's multi-purpose floor remains closed while structural repairs continue and is expected to reopen November 2, 2026, subject to completion of the work. Programs and activities requiring use of the floor remain unavailable until it reopens.
Norfolk County thanks residents and facility users for their patience and looks forward to welcoming the community back.
