Notice is hereby given that a public meeting of Council is scheduled to consider passage of a by-law proposing to close and convey a portion of the following municipal road allowance at Part Road Allowance at King St S, Plan 17B; King St S Plan 189; Norfolk County (Being Part of P.I.N. 50208-0171 (LT))

Norfolk County residents are reminded that most County services, and all County buildings, will not be available on Thanksgiving Monday, October 13, 2025.  

Norfolk County is updating residents on its ongoing efforts to investigate and address low water levels at the Waterford Ponds.

Norfolk County has contracted Civica to conduct dye testing of drainage features along Main Street of Port Dover. Residents and businesses in these areas will receive advance notice, and daily updates will be provided throughout the project to keep the community informed.

Water service to the west end of Delhi Cemetery (Swimming Pool Road side) has been shut off due to a water line break.

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Corporation of Norfolk County intends to consider the proposed 2026 User Fees and Service Charges at its Budget Committee Meeting on October 16th, 2025.

Ride Norfolk service will be unavailable from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

The County of Norfolk has undertaken a Municipally Initiated Official Plan Update as part of the 
Conformity Exercise to the Provincial Planning Statement 2024 that came into effect on October 20, 2024. The County is hosting an in-person Open House on October 22, 2025 and a hybrid Public Meeting of Council on December 16, 2025 to inform about the proposed amendments to the Official Plan in accordance with Section 26 of the Planning Act. 

Norfolk County Council met on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The meeting included several deputations, staff reports, and discussions on planning applications, infrastructure, and council remuneration.
