  • Municipal collection of industrial, commercial, and institutional recycling to discontinue in 2026

    Norfolk County Council has decided that, in alignment with provincial direction, municipal-funded curbside recycling collection services for industrial, commercial, and institutional properties will end after 2025. While this change does apply to Norfolk County-owned buildings and facilities, Council approved funding to support recycling collection services for County facilities.  

  • Norfolk County to implement enhanced 9-1-1 medical dispatch system

    Beginning November 5, 2025, Norfolk County residents will see improvements to emergency medical response as the Ontario Ministry of Health’s Hamilton Central Ambulance Communication Centre introduces the Medical Priority Dispatch System (MPDS).

    Norfolk County is pleased to announce the opening of a new disc golf course at Wind-Del Park.  
     
    To celebrate, a Grand Opening Event will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the park, located at 3178 Regional Road 25, Windham Centre, Ontario. The first 20 attendees will receive a Norfolk County-branded putter disc, and all attendees can enter a draw for a full set of PDGA-approved glow-in-the-dark discs made from recycled plastic.
