Do you know of a Norfolk County athlete who has consistently excelled at the highest levels of sport? A coach or builder who has left a lasting legacy on Norfolk’s sporting landscape? What about a sports ambassador whose enthusiasm and commitment stand above all others? If so, the Norfolk County Sports Hall of Recognition wants to hear from you.

Norfolk County is proud to present a fourth installment of the Business Resources (BRiNC) happening this October. Four workshops will be delivered between two days, October 11 and 18, at no charge to attendees.

Norfolk County will see a total of 19 new benches at transit stops as part of a new five-year project.

September 28, 2022 – The council-approved three month Paid Parking Pilot Project, which began June 15 in Port Dover and Long Point, has come to an end.

Norfolk County will observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation holiday on Friday, Sept. 30. This statutory holiday was created through legislative amendments made by Parliament in June of 2021 – and on Sept. 7 2021, Council approved National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to be recognized by all Norfolk County staff.

Last week voter cards for the 2022 Municipal Election were mailed to all Norfolk County electors who are currently on the Voters List.

Beneath our feet, a league of superheroes is at work to make life on earth possible. The Delhi Tobacco Museum & Heritage Centre is excited to announce a new exhibition on loan from the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum.

As the calendar turns to fall, that means Norfolk County will soon perform routine maintenance to water mains throughout the municipality. The process begins Sept. 19 and will continue into early November.

Norfolk County continues to honour the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty devoted her life to public service for 70 years as the longest-reigning monarch in Canadian and Commonwealth history.

The Norfolk County Parade of Champions will return on Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Norfolk County Fair.
