Council meetings to temporarily relocate during Council Chambers renovations
Due to ongoing renovations in Council Chambers at the County Administration Building in Simcoe, Norfolk County Council and Committee meetings scheduled for September 2026 will take place at the Gilbertson Administration Building in Simcoe.
The Public Hearing Committee meeting on Tuesday, September 1, begins at 1:00 p.m. All other meeting dates and times are unchanged.
Due to limited space at this location, members of the public are encouraged to view meetings online. Those with an approved deputation or who need to attend a specific meeting will receive attendance instructions from the Norfolk County Clerk's Office.
Members of the media who wish to attend a meeting in person must contact the Clerk's Office at clerks@norfolkcounty.ca in advance to make arrangements.
Council and committee meetings will continue to be live-streamed and recorded on Norfolk County's YouTube channel. Live streams feature live captioning to improve accessibility for people who are Deaf or hearing impaired.
