As Norfolk County prepares to launch a new curbside waste collection program in September, residents and businesses are invited to preview garbage and organics carts in person and determine the option that works best for their property.

Norfolk County’s spring urban yard waste collection program begins the week of April 6, 2026. 

Norfolk County would like to remind residents of changes to programs, facilities, and services throughout the Easter holiday weekend, including modified hours and temporary closures. 

A new exhibit celebrating local sports and recreation is now open at the Norfolk County Archives. 

Game On! A history of local sports and recreation was developed in partnership with the Norfolk County Sports Hall of Recognition and features items from the Sports Hall’s historical collection.

Norfolk County is currently completing dredging operations at the Port Dover harbour mouth to maintain safe navigation for boaters and support local waterfront activity. Work is planned to be completed by April 10, 2026.
