Norfolk County updates how legislated public notices will be published

Norfolk County is advising residents of a change to how legislatively required public notices will be published following the recent closure of the Norfolk and Tillsonburg News printed newspaper.

Public notices that are required by legislation to appear in a printed newspaper will now be published in the Simcoe Reformer and, where relevant to the affected community, the Port Dover Maple Leaf.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed about Norfolk County news and notices by subscribing to the County's email notification system at norfolkcounty.ca/Subscribe. Subscribers can choose to receive public notices, media releases, service disruptions, Council and Committee updates, and other important community information sent right to their email inbox.

News and notices are also shared on Norfolk County's website at norfolkcounty.ca/News and on Norfolk County’s official Facebook (facebook.com/NorfolkCountyCA) and Instagram (instagram.com/norfolkcounty.ca) accounts. 

For residents without internet access, public notices will be printed and posted at County administration buildings in Simcoe and Delhi.
