As Canada’s economic challenges continue to evolve, Norfolk County is commitment to assisting residents and local businesses to foster a resilient community. 

Earlier this week, proceeds from the annual Aspira Golf Tournament, held each June, were presented in support of senior recreation programs in Norfolk County. 

Norfolk County is once again inviting stakeholders and residents to experience the vision of the Draft Master Recreation Plan at an Open House event on April 8, 2025.  

Residents looking to dispose of household hazardous waste can register for Norfolk County’s Spring Household Hazardous Waste events starting Wednesday, March 19, at noon. 

Norfolk County is inviting residents to share their feedback on the Draft Master Recreation Plan, which will be presented to the Recreation and Parks Advisory Committee on Thursday, February 27, at 4 p.m. in Council Chambers, Simcoe.

Norfolk County is reminding residents of changes to programs and facility closures on Family Day, Monday, February 17. While many buildings, programs and services are not open or running, there are several recreational opportunities for community members of all ages. 

Norfolk County is proud to be recognized for two outstanding initiatives at the 2024 Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO) Awards of Excellence. The County received top honours in the Planning and Strategy Development (Rural) category for its in-house developed Economic Development Strategy and earned an Honourable Mention in the Visitor Attraction & Tourism Product category for the Meet Scout initiative.
