Norfolk County Council adopted Official Plan Amendment By-Law No. 2025-78 and Zoning By-Law Amendment By-Law No. 2025-85 on October 28, 2025, in accordance with the Planning Act. The 20-day appeal period expired on December 2, 2025, and no appeals were filed. This notice is dated December 11, 2025.

Norfolk County will reopen the bulk water depot located at the Port Dover Water Tower, 135 Hamilton Plank Road, effective Monday, December 1.

Norfolk County has contracted Civica to conduct dye testing of drainage features along Main Street of Port Dover. Residents and businesses in these areas will receive advance notice, and daily updates will be provided throughout the project to keep the community informed.

The County of Norfolk has undertaken a Municipally Initiated Official Plan Update as part of the 
Conformity Exercise to the Provincial Planning Statement 2024 that came into effect on October 20, 2024. The County is hosting an in-person Open House on October 22, 2025 and a hybrid Public Meeting of Council on December 16, 2025 to inform about the proposed amendments to the Official Plan in accordance with Section 26 of the Planning Act.
