New Waste Collection Program Open House Events

When and where

• Wednesday, May 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m at the St. Williams Community Centre
• Wednesday, May 27, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Simcoe Recreation Centre, Dogwood Room

A presentation will be delivered at 7:00 p.m. at each event.

About the event

Norfolk County is hosting two Open House events to provide an overview of upcoming changes to curbside waste collection, which are scheduled to begin on September 28, 2026.

The Open House events will cover key elements of the new waste collection program, including cart options, waste exemption applications, and important timelines. County staff will be available to share information and answer questions from residents, farms, and businesses.
