Dog strangling vine information session June 11 in Waterford

Norfolk County Forestry staff are hosting an information session to raise awareness about dog strangling vine, an invasive plant species recently detected in Waterford, including along the trail.

Information

This session will provide information on how to identify dog strangling vine and how to report sightings. Early detection and reporting are critical to helping control the spread of this species. 

The session will be held outdoors. Please meet at the parking lot at the west end of Nichol St. The session will run approximately 30 to 45 minutes. 

All members of the public are welcome.
