TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Corporation of Norfolk County intends to consider and adopt the Draft 2026 Levy Operating Budget at a Special Council meeting as part of its Budget Committee deliberations.
Norfolk County has completed a Schedule B Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) for proposed upgrades to the Simcoe Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), including biosolids handling improvements and storage tanks to accommodate material from Port Dover and Port Rowan WWTPs. The study updates recommendations from the 2016 Integrated Sustainable Master Plan to reflect current technologies and regulations, addressing County-wide servicing needs projected to 2051 in accordance with the Municipal Class EA process under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.

Norfolk County Council adopted Official Plan Amendment By-Law No. 2025-78 and Zoning By-Law Amendment By-Law No. 2025-85 on October 28, 2025, in accordance with the Planning Act. The 20-day appeal period expired on December 2, 2025, and no appeals were filed. This notice is dated December 11, 2025.
