TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Corporation of Norfolk County intends to consider the proposed 2025 User Fees and Service Charges at its Council-in-Committee Meeting on October 17th, 2024.

Norfolk County has retained Civica Infrastructure Inc. (Civica) to complete the County Wide Inflow and Infiltration Program. The study’s objectives are to identify sources of stormwater or groundwater entering the sanitary sewer system.

We will be conducting condition assessments of the buried water mains, and a conducting condition assessment survey will be performed using vibrations by attaching sensors to hydrants and valves.

As hot and humid conditions are expected throughout the week, the Medical Officer of Health is issuing a Heat Warning for the residents and visitors of Haldimand and Norfolk counties. The HNHU (Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit) recommends that people take steps to prevent heat-related illness.
