Notice is hereby given that a public meeting of Council is scheduled to consider passage of a by-law proposing to close and convey a portion of the following municipal road allowance:

Norfolk County Council adopted an updated Community Improvement Plan on July 28, 2026, through By-law 2026-76. The updated plan clarifies eligibility criteria for the Brownfield Tax Increment Grant. It updates administrative processes to reflect current practice, while existing financial incentives and the Community Improvement Project Area remain unchanged. Appeals may be submitted to the Ontario Land Tribunal through the Clerk's Office at 50 Colborne Street South, Simcoe, no later than August 27, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 16, 2026, the Delhi Kinsmen Pool has reopened, and all public swims, lessons, aquatic fitness classes and registered programs are running as scheduled.
Due to poor air quality resulting from smoke in the area, the Delhi Kinsmen Pool is closed effective 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
Poor air quality is being reported in Simcoe and surrounding areas due to smoke from an ongoing structure fire on Highway 3 between Simcoe and Delhi. Norfolk County Fire and Rescue Services is advising residents to keep windows and doors closed where smoke is present, limit outdoor activity, and avoid the area while emergency crews respond.
Norfolk County is undertaking a Development Charge Background Study to guide how growth-related infrastructure is funded.
As part of this work, the County is inviting members of the development community and the public to attend an online information session on Friday, July 17, to review the draft background study and by-law.
