Norfolk County Council will hold a public meeting to present and receive comments on the proposed Development Charges By-law and the related Development Charges Background Study, in accordance with the Development Charges Act, 1997.

The Development Charges Background Study, along with the proposed Development Charges By-law, will be available beginning July 10, 2026:

Submit comments
Written comments may be submitted to the Municipal Clerk at the address above before July 20, 2026, or provided in person at the public meeting.
Information session
Prior to the statutory public meeting, Norfolk County will host a virtual information session on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 3 to 4 p.m. The session will provide an overview of the Development Charges Background Study and proposed by-law and offer an opportunity to ask questions before the public meeting.
