Development Charge Background Study Virtual Meeting

Norfolk County is undertaking a Development Charge Background Study to guide how growth-related infrastructure is funded. 

As part of this work, the County is inviting members of the development community and the public to attend an information session. 

Information session 

This session will provide an overview of the recently released development charge background study and by-law, including recent changes to the Development Charges Act and current best practices. County staff as well as the County's third-party consultant will be available to answer questions.

Looking ahead

Norfolk County will also hold a statutory public meeting regarding the proposed Development Charges By-law and Development Charges Background Study on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 3 p.m. in Council Chambers.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend either or both opportunities to learn more and provide feedback.
