Snow removal operations scheduled to begin overnight Tuesday, February 3
Norfolk County is advising residents and local businesses that snow removal operations are scheduled to begin at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 3. The timing remains tentative and may change if plowing is required. County staff will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and will provide updates as needed.

Norfolk County Council adopts 2026 Levy Operating Budget
Norfolk County Council has officially adopted the 2026 Levy Operating Budget following Budget Committee deliberations held on January 21, 2026. As permitted under the Strong Mayor framework, the remaining amendment period was waived, and the Mayor has also waived the veto period, allowing the budget to take effect immediately.
