Paid parking in effect in Norfolk’s lakeside communities for 2026

Paid parking is now in effect in designated lakeside communities across Norfolk County, operating daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Labour Day. 

Locations 

  • Port Dover: Clinton Street parking lot, Lift Bridge Parking Lot, Harbour Street near the museum 
  • Turkey Point: Cedar Drive from Turkey Point Road to Old Hill Road 
  • Long Point: Erie Boulevard and Abigail Becker parking lot 

Cost 

Parking fees have been maintained at just $4 per hour for a 4th year. 

Payment options 

Payment is available using the HotSpot app, by scanning a QR code posted in parking areas, or at electronic pay terminals. Cash is not accepted. 

Resident permits 

Resident Permits are available to Norfolk County residents or property owners for $35 per vehicle for the season. The permit covers four hours of paid parking per day and is available by contacting HotSpot Parking at 1-855-712-5888.    

Accessible parking 

Vehicles displaying a valid Ministry of Transportation Accessible Parking Permit may park at no charge in a marked accessible parking space within a paid parking zone. The permit does not apply outside of designated accessible spaces. 

Enforcement 

Vehicles parked in designated paid parking zones without proper payment will be subject to a $75 fine.
