Ontario Renovates program now accepting applications
Residents in Haldimand and Norfolk may now apply for help with essential home repairs through the Ontario Renovates program.
This program provides financial assistance for home repairs to low-to-moderate income households. Funding is in the form of a 10-year interest-free forgivable loan if the applicant remains in the home.
To qualify for the program, applicants must:
- Own and live in the home as their sole and principal residence
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a total household income of $120,800 or less (this amount may change each year)
- Live in a home valued at less than $705,833 (based on MPAC assessment)
- Have household assets of $50,000 or less. This limit does not include the value of the home or vehicles owned by people living in the household. Other exemptions may apply.
Applications are open until July 24, 2026. Funding is limited, and priority will be given to urgent repairs.
