Cart delivery updates

Due to a supplier delivery delay, some residents who requested a small grey garbage cart may only receive their green organics cart during the initial delivery. Small grey garbage carts for these properties will be delivered separately within the next one to two weeks. All requested carts will be delivered, but they may not arrive at the same time.

If you requested a small grey garbage cart during the cart request period and it did not arrive with your green cart delivery, please do not submit a missed delivery request.

If you requested a small grey garbage cart during the cart request period and a standard grey garbage cart was delivered, please accept the cart and submit an incorrect cart delivery service request. Please do not leave the cart by the road. Staff will contact you to confirm the details of the exchange in the next few weeks.

Cart delivery schedule

Waste cart deliveries will take place over several weeks and may occur at any time during the delivery window. Property owners do not need to be home during delivery.

Unfortunately, Norfolk County cannot accommodate requests for specific delivery dates or alternative pick-up options.

Delivery dates are approximate and may be affected by weather, traffic, or operational requirements. Please note that this schedule is subject to change and will be reflected on this page.

If a property does not receive its carts within the delivery timeframe, please submit a missed or incorrect cart delivery service request.

A small kitchen container used for collecting food scraps will be placed inside the green organics cart. Property owners are encouraged to look inside their green cart after delivery for their kitchen container.
