Norfolk asks that the Province
Establish a rural education and child care innovation pilot in Norfolk County to support:
- Integrated child care and school hubs to improve access for families
- Rural student transportation models that reflect the realities of long distances
- Increased investment in agriculture, skilled trades, and agri-technology programming in secondary and post-secondary education
- Expansion of licensed child care spaces, broadband infrastructure, and digital learning opportunities to support growing rural communities
