Residents who live outside of zones 1, 2 and 3 can bring leaf and yard waste free of charge to Norfolk's transfer stations in paper bags or bulk for composting. Loads of brush and branches will be charged the regular tipping fee.

Residents are reminded not to rake or blow leaves onto streets or neighbouring properties, in accordance with By-law 2004-213. Leaves can block catch basins, create slippery conditions on sidewalks and roads, and interfere with street sweeping operations.
