Norfolk County is inviting high school and post-secondary students to apply for summer employment opportunities for 2026. 

Norfolk County will reopen the bulk water depot located at the Port Dover Water Tower, 135 Hamilton Plank Road, effective Monday, December 1.

Norfolk County is pleased to announce that its 2026 allocation under the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF) increased by 10 per cent, bringing the funds received to $6.9 million.

Norfolk County Paramedic Services has received $25,000 through Ontario’s Mental Health Supports for Public Safety Personnel (MHS4PSP) Grant Program. This provincial initiative focuses on training and capacity-building to strengthen mental health, and wellness supports for public safety personnel. 

Norfolk County Council’s Budget Committee has adopted the 2026 Levy Capital Budget following the scheduled Council Budget Committee meeting held on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Final adoption of the Capital Plan will be considered by Council on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

Norfolk County has scheduled a Special Council meeting on Thursday, November 20, 2026, starting at 9:30 a.m.  The previously scheduled Budget Committee meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. 

Norfolk County has announced the finalists in the Safety Squad naming contest; thanks to the creativity of the community, seven characters are one step closer to having names.

At today’s Council-in-Committee meeting, Norfolk County Council directed staff to bring the Ice Allocation Report and Policy back to Council in February 2026.  

Mayor Amy Martin tabled the draft 2026-2035 Levy Capital Plan today, fulfilling her legislated responsibilities under the Municipal Act.  

Norfolk County has made changes to the schedule for two upcoming Council meetings in November and December.
