Council

Council is Norfolk County's governing body, with nine members elected through the municipal election process for a four-year term. The nine members include the mayor and eight Councillors representing each of Norfolk's seven wards.

Advocacy and government relations

Norfolk County Council participates in conferences hosted by the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) and the Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) to advocate for local priorities, build relationships with provincial decision-makers, and seek support for initiatives that benefit Norfolk County residents and businesses.
