Christmas Tree Recycling
Easily recycle your Christmas tree in Norfolk County by dropping it off at designated locations. All collected trees are chipped and turned into mulch for use on various upcoming County projects.
How to recycle your tree
- Remove all decorations
- Do not place your tree or brush in a plastic bag
- Christmas Trees left at the curb will not be picked up
Depot dates
- December 26, 2025 to January 11, 2026
- Simcoe Transfer Station and South Walsingham Transfer Station will follow usual business hours (Closed Dec. 25, 26, Jan. 1)
