Norfolk County launches redesigned website

Norfolk County is pleased to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website, norfolkcounty.ca. The updated website offers residents, customers, and visitors an improved online experience with a modern, user-friendly interface.

Key features of the new website include: 

  • Enhanced navigation: Simplified menus and intuitive layout for easier access to information. 
  • Responsive design: Adjusts seamlessly to any screen size, ensuring a consistent experience across devices. 
  • Online forms and applications: Convenient access to various forms and applications. 
  • By-law and policy directory: Comprehensive directories for easy reference. 
  • Subscription service: Receive news and notices by email. 

The website links to other online customer service tools, including Norfolk’s: 

  • Customer Service Portal: Includes over 50 online service requests, from burn permits to business licenses. 
  • CityView Portal: Apply for building permits, check the status of an application, request building inspections, and submit by-law cases. 
  • Virtual County Hall: Manage property tax accounts, including eBilling, viewing transactions, and making credit card payments. 
  • ENCORE: Recreation’s online registration and facility booking system for swim lessons, memberships, child, adult and senior programs, facility rental requests and more. 

Norfolk County invites residents to explore the new website and provide feedback on the site’s design, organization, and features at NorfolkCounty.ca/Feedback. Visitors are also encouraged to share ideas or suggestions for further improvement. 

The redesign, initiated in early 2024, aligns with Council’s 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, which includes strengthening communication and service delivery as a key priority. The new website also complies with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), ensuring it is accessible to all users.
