Water and Wastewater Collection and Billing
In 2017, Norfolk County Council awarded the contract for Water & Wastewater Billing and Collection Services to ERTH Solutions for a 5-year term. ERTH provides water/wastewater billing and collections services on behalf of Norfolk County to all water and wastewater customers.
Who is ERTH Solutions? ERTH Corporation currently provides billing services to more than 135,000 customers in 17 communities. It has been providing utility and municipal solutions for many years throughout Ontario and will be using the ERTH Solutions brand to service the customers of Norfolk. Options include: Note: In-person payments for water/wastewater bills will not be accepted at any Norfolk County offices. Commencing with the April, 2021 billing cycle, bills from the bulk water depots will be delivered from ERTH solutions instead of Norfolk County. This will also result in a change of payment from Norfolk County to ERTH solutions – a great opportunity to switch to the electronic payment option. While the process for the water consumption will not change, the way you are billed will be different. Previously billing only occurred once reaching a $10 threshold, often carrying over to future billing cycles. Going forward all consumption will be billed each month. The process to change your account information or add a new one will be handled in the same fashion that you have been accustomed to in past. Your new bill from ERTH will look like the following.
