Following a comprehensive review of Norfolk County’s Harmonized Business Licensing By-Law, we are able to present our new Business Licensing By-Law 2020-17, which received full Council approval on April 7, 2020.

Three key improvements to the County’s Business Licensing program include:

  • Simplified fees for all businesses;
  • Removal of barriers where possible; and,
  • Clear and rational regulations where needed.

Processing times for licences are between 2-3 weeks to allow for circulation and approval from appropriate departments and agencies.
