Virtual County Hall (VCH) offers residents new and enhanced services to make managing property taxes and accounts receivable more convenient and efficient. These services include:

  • Electronic tax notices: Review your tax notices electronically, providing quick and easy access to important information
  • Online credit card payments: Pay property taxes, parking tickets, and accounts receivable online using a credit card.
  • Transaction history: View detailed transaction history for property taxes and accounts receivable, helping you keep track of your payments and balances.
  • Property information: Access property-specific details such as assessed values, ownership information, and mailing addresses
  • Electronic tax certificate generation: Law firms can generate and process payments for electronic tax certificates, streamlining legal processes

Input the account username that you will be able to remember. Your email address is often a good option. 

Yes, you must enter your full name exactly as it appears on your tax notice or bill.

When a property has more than one owner, the primary name will be listed first. The Customer Number on your tax notice or bill will be the primary owner's number. 

If you are the second name listed, please contact ServiceNorfolk at 519-426-5870 or 226-NORFOLK to get your Customer Number. 

When you activate an account and receive the success message in VCH, you will be emailed an account verification link to the email used during the activation process.

You must select the verification link in your email to verify your account before you can sign in. 

To avoid getting a bill by mail, the primary owner (the first name on the bill) must sign up for e-billing. 

Yes, you can pay online with a credit card. A 3% administration fee will apply to all credit card payments for property taxes.
