What is in-person voting?

In-person voting requires voters to visit a polling station on election day. At the polling station, voters physically complete a paper ballot, which is processed on-site through a vote tabulator.

When to vote in person

Voting Day is Monday, October 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Where to vote in person

In-person voting is done at a polling station. Polling station locations for each Ward in Norfolk County are still being finalized and will be posted here soon.

Voter identification

Identification is required when you vote. You will need to show ID that contains your name and address. You may have to show two pieces of ID to accomplish this. Please bring an original or certified/notarized copy.

Barrier-free voting

If you would like assistance marking your ballot, you may have a support person come with you.

When you arrive at the poll, please let the greeter know you have a support person assisting you. Your support person will need to take an oath affirming that they will mark your ballot according to your instructions. They can then go with you through the polling station and behind the voter screen to mark your ballot.
