Snow removal operations scheduled to begin overnight Tuesday, February 3
Norfolk County is advising residents and local businesses that snow removal operations are scheduled to begin at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 3. The timing remains tentative and may change if plowing is required. County staff will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and will provide updates as needed.
Crews will use dump trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment to remove snowbanks from downtown areas. Work will take place overnight for two to three days, and residents should expect increased noise during these operations.
To support the safe and efficient removal of snow, no on-street parking is permitted in affected downtown areas during the operation. Vehicles left in these zones may be subject to ticketing or towing.
The County thanks residents and business owners for their cooperation as crews work to keep roads and sidewalks clear and safe.
